Pros and cons of Swords of Anima app for iPhone and iPad

Swords of Anima app good for

This game is great I cant wait for another one. The ending is just hilarious and the music is good although its a little bit repetitive. This is a strategy game of the likes of fire emblem but the characters dont evolve. It also differs because every character has different skills and there is no sword beats axe, the beat lance etc., but there are classes that are better against others. Theres also no iapps so major plus here!
Great story, FUN and varied tactical turn-based combat, this is a true gem for any turn based RPG fan. Game also keeps improving: adding new little touches such as more f/x, improvements to dialog, etc.

Some bad moments

Too much cheesy dialog, tutorial level doesnt really explain anything.
Story doesnt make sense and fighting system is crap. Ive played over 100 RPGs/tactical RPGs over the last 20 years. Dont buy.
Levels are short. Dialogue is not interesting if it even makes any sense. Strategy is waaaaay to easy... to the point of, what is the point?
Ive been quite enjoying this game. The main attraction is the battles. Theyre not super hard, but each battle is quite different, and if you also try to get the challenge goal in each battle theyre a fun challenge. The game runs perfectly on my iPad 4. The touch controls are very easy and work well. The English translation is a bit rough, and the story is a little unevenly paced, but overall enjoyable. I think for people whove played lots of strategy RPGs and like a hard challenge, this may seem too easy, but if youre new to the genre or want a relaxing game, this is quite fun.
I have played many strategy rpgs over the years but never for IOS. Now before I get into the pros of this game Im going to mention the cons of what I have seen so far since even though they are minor I think its good to let people know as well as the developer so they can fix it eventually. I have only played the first couple of missions but anyway what I have noticed is the enemies dont make a sound when they die and fade away. Also the battle fields are so far well designed but seem a bit easy with the fact there is no perma death for your party of characters which is fine (and as I noticed theres an option for hard which I will try eventually) but aside from that its all I have noticed that are negatives of this game at this point. Now on to the positives: this game has a unique art style for the characters and enemies which is really well done. Also, I like how this game has its own take on combat that is like but different than games like fire emblem. As far as story goes I find it easy to understand and if it seems confusing at times I get that since from what I have played so far its not the best story but its good so far. I do like how the developer has added updates to help combat and animations during combat although a dying sound for each of the enemies and characters with a possible animation would make this game better. Also if there was some voices not with cutscenes but with the battles when enemies and characters attack and defend (although there are good sound effects in place but no voices) that would make the game more enjoyable. Overall I enjoy this game a lot so far and its pretty relaxing for some weird reason to play. Oh, and I like how u dont need to have internet or cell service on to play this game and save. Overall, I look forward to seeing how this game is going to develop a bit more and I have heard that there is going to be free dlc added to this game at some point that will add some new enemy classes, and stages which is cool. I will update my review when I have played this game a bit more but for now the game is to me a great game even though its not the best one of its genre I have ever played. For being a few dollars and for everything I said above its worth your time. So what are u waiting for?
Only 15 small missions and then its game over. Each mission is around 5-10 minutes. The game is in serious need of expanding. What a let down this game turned out to be. Stay away.
